Corporation: Escaping Redemption
«
on:

There will come a time when the nations of the world will cease to exist. When the anachronisms of state and country are finally crushed by the inexorable juggernaut of total corporate domination. When five monolithic Corporations are the new world powers. When the lives of billions are the sole property of the companies that employ them.
There will come a time when the tools of war and politics alike are not armies or diplomats but Agents: the eyes, the hands, and sometimes the knives of the Corporations, individuals elevated to new peaks of physical and mental potential by unthinkable training and unimaginable technologies.
There will come a time when you will be recruited as an Agent, ordered to operate outside any remaining semblance of law and augmented beyond what you once considered human. When you will negotiate, bargain, spy, sabotage, kill and perhaps die in the service of your Corporation - and when you will be well rewarded, as long as you survive.
The time is 2500 AD, and it is now.
Welcome to the Corporation

Agent Division Seraph XI
Agent Kalindra Devereaux
PR/Telepath
Agent Milonov Yudin
Mechtronics Specialist
Agent Gene Finegan
Weapons Expert (Pistols)
Agent Tom Green
Negotiations
Agent Fagin Melawi
Weapons Expert (Heavy) i.e. an E.I. Nuke
Agent Triad
Weapons Expert (Tactical)
The Story so far
Agent Division Seraph XI was put together by Executive Director S. Henderson in a bid to prove that not all E.I. Divisions were about sharp suits, big guys and collateral damage. They were tasked with infiltrating a Cybernetics Lab in Redemption Spire, Cape Town to retrieve an experimental cybernetic component.
The infiltration occurred succesfully but circumstances have dictated a change of tactics. Having located the component, the Division are now trapped 643 floors above enemy territory and must somehow escape the Spire. Even if they get away, there's still the Auditors to face when they get back to home to the Odessa Spire

Funny, I was just going to ask you yesterday on the forum as to when you’re planning to conclude this. I’ll be there as agent Triad once again of course!

Although Hugh has said that Werewolf is likely to get pulled, Phil hasn't yet done so. Until he does, I'll list you as provisional because you're still signed up for his game.
On an alternate note, I'm assuming that some people would like to reprise their previous roles: Matt B as Devereaux, Tim A as Triad and Dan M as Finegan.

Okay, I've received confirmation that Werewolf has been pulled so I've added Dan M to the list of players.

Just to let people know that once the mission is over and you've been debriefed. I'll be getting you to update the individual characters.
Each character will likely receive enough xp, rank pts, money and downtime to take you to Level 4 and Rank 2. This is to help create the PreGen characters for my Dragonmeet scenario

Seeing as Milo has the recovered component in his possession after successfully cracking the safe, you had better sign me up to the escape committee. Just keep me away from Comoros heavies as I'm allergic to lead.

Added you as per your request.

To be honest, you're not the one in danger of imminent lead poisoning. I suspect that Triad or Finegan would be more susceptible to that, especially with Finegan's itchy trigger finger.

I not too sure if it's them you need to worry. Triad does have a tendency to be somewhat…indiscriminate when it comes around to dishing out the dumdum rounds.
Thinking about, over the past few months:
In Dark Heresy I shot numerous party members countless times, sometimes in the head.
In Shadowrun, I shot Noliar’s faceman several times (fortunately that was only gel rounds)
In D&D I did end up engulfing a party member in my Dragon’s breath.
Oh well, Triad hasn’t hit anyone with friendly fire……yet!

Its the use of the word yet in that sentance that worries me, yes i know Finigan can be a little trigger happy at times but its the way he is, shoot first, ask questions if theres anything left alive and above all don't get hit yourself if I stand next to or behind you you can't accidently shoot me in theory any way, cya Dan

Okay, spoke to Michael S last week and he's up for the next outing of Corporation.
I'm assuming that people will reprise the characters they played before. That means that James will be playing Melawi, the Nuke or Heavy Weapons expert.
And given some people's poor dice rolls recently, I suspect that there will be lead poisoning, laser burns and plasma flashbacks in your future.

Annoyingly, I have to fill in for my boss at the last minute at an conference up North and won't get back to London until late tomorrow evening so I won't be able to make it tomorrow. But I'll be back for the concluding episode next week.
Sorry guys.
