Well chumers,
I was thinking about running a bit of shadowrun.
The Time: 2070 - approaching the 60th Anniversary of the return of magic to the world, 4 years since the great crash 2.0 that left thousands dead or comatose leaving the global infrastructure gutted and paving the way for the wireless matrix we all know and love. about 3 months since you last had a decent paying job... that needs to change.
The place: Denver, the Treaty City where representatives of every interested North American nation, corporation and criminal group meet to thrash out their differences and the only place in North America where no army is permitted.
The problem: Everybody wants something, most of it illegal or skirting around the edges. Lots of people have money, few of them are trustworthy.
The Solution: Shadowrunner, specialists for hire who take the cash and do the job, whatever it might be. They can be anybody, any species, any profession as long as they can get the job done. It's a brutal and often short life but your hearts desires can be yours if you survive long enough.
- Pre-gen characters avaliable
- Run using official scenarios
- Nice faced paced cyberpunk system with plenty of surprises
| Game: | Shadowrun |
| GM: | Andy Hawkins |
| Slots: | 4-6 |
| 1. | Mark Holland - (Close combatant) |
| 2. | Beth Holland (Dwarf Rigger) |
| 3. | John Messum - (Utility hermetic mage?) |
| 4. | Tim Allan - (Covert Ops?) |
| 5. | James Chambers - (Rigger) |
| 6. | Michael Simmons* - (Social Adept) |
| 7. | Matt N* (Orc Gun Bunny?) |
| 8. | Nick Reynolds* (Cat Shaman) |
| 9. | Pyro - (Human Covert Ops) |
| 10. | Richard* - (Troll Hacker) / Me* (Human Mage) - Alternating |
Those with an asterisk already have already created characters to the best of my knowledge. I will make pregens for everybody else.
Okay due to overwhelming layer demand and a cock-up with sign-up sheets (mostly my fault) I am afraid that I must make a few amendments to this game.
Firstly, I am dropping the Missions element. Instead I will run non-missions scenarios set in Seattle.
Richard has agreed to run a Missions game in a 1 week slot when one becomes avaliable and I will run a small 3 week slot shortly afterwards, however at the moment it's too popular and hopefully some people might be willing to wait.
From what I understand there is a concerted effort to get another table running so that people will still have something fun to play.
Secondly, there are few fair ways to determine who will play in this scenario. I will have to take it on the order that people signed up (to the best of my memory)
Mark
Beth
Mike
Pyro
John Messum
Tim Allan
As I said, this is to the best of my limited recollection so I may be mistaken. If anybody is still eager to play perhapse they can discuss with the people listed above and see about swapping.
For everybody else I am extremly sorry for the mix-up. I'll be more organised in future.
