It will be D&D 3.5 version as I have books for that, the characters will be level 1 and I will gen them for people, the classes will be

Fighter
Cleric
Wizard

The following classes will depend on the exact plot

Rogue
Ranger
Bard
Monk
Paladin
Druid

The scenarios to choose are, protecting a caravan, investigating local disappearances, rumours of a monster in the wood, rumours of a magical tomb

If people are interested reply here with what they want to play as and what scenario they are interested in.

The plot for the game is that the players have answered an add requesting protection for a caravan that is going to be travelling though a dangerous area, the person that is paying them is Baron Danvom, there are a few rumours going around about this job, firstly that the baron double crosses people instead of paying them, second that another organisation wants what the caravan is transporting and finally that the whole business has too much to do with dragons. There is no real proof to support these rumours; the baron is the major official in the area and not exactly popular so they may only be lies, there is only one way to find out the truth, will you take up the quest of “The Journey to Blackvale”

people can chose to either generate their own ECL 1 character for D&D 3.5 or i will make the six characters for this game, if i make them the classes will be:
a fighter
a cleric
a wizard
a ranger
a bard
and a monk

OK count me in, I quite fancy playing a ranger (but I'm quite happy to play just about anything if there are any gaps)

Q. Will this still be 3.5, or will you now upgrade to 4.0?

I would like to join this game.  I am not yet a member of the club, but I'm sure I will be by September!  I'll happily play a druid or a monk.

What generation method are you using?

if your talking abour stats i'm rollinging 24 dice and taking away the lowest 6 then matching up the remaining 18 into 6 sets of 3 to get the nimbers, this way you are unlikely to get really low rolls unless your really bad at rolling, so far its been quite good.

a monk is fine, shall i stat him you would you like to?

If you tell me what stats to use, so there are no 'issues', I'll generate the rest of the character.  (There's no reward for getting high rolls otherwise, 'cos they end up looking like you made them up...)

I presume you're sticking to the PHB for feats, etc?

Thanks!

Character info. Here is some information about the characters, the people that are playing the ranger and the monk need to choose a name for them.

The ranger:
They have a old heirloom, a horn (as in something you blow to make a sound not a body part) that has a beautiful unicorn pattern on it, it is said that if the horn is blown help will come to aid the wielder.

The monk:
When they set out from the monastery where they were trained they were gifted with a old grey belt, the monk that gave it to you said if your were ever in great danger the belt will help to protect you.

The cleric:
Ivon cutter, he is a devout follower of heironeous the god of valor, there is an old family legend of family members having dealing with hound archons, even so far as to suggest that the family has an old pact with them, to that end his father received a vision from heironeous saying that the time would soon come for his son Ivon to continue the pact, but that it would only happen on the road, so Ivon set out not only to seek the rewards of adventuring but to seek his destiny.

The wizard:
Silvia Goldenleaf, she is an elf who was born in the city of Antona, and took up adventuring to get away from the stuffy and boring lifestyle of city life. Apart from magic one of her major passions is archery. Along with all the usual equipment she took along an old bronze statue of a fire mephit, as she is sure that it holds some kind of magical power so it might possibly be useful. Although her parents have no idea that she has taken it and are less than happy out her going adventuring.

The fighter:
Grom Redfist: he is a half-orc fighter from a small village called Chatham, half of the population is half-orc although he is quite strong for his age, so it was only natural that he would take up adventuring, his parents are very proud that he is following in the footsteps of the great warrior Gronga Redfist, Grom’s great great great grandfather, to this end they have given him Gronga’s greatsword which has been passed down as a family heirloom.
