OK so it's a boardgame but it has a GM, pre-written scenarios, requires a large table, setup time and a commitment from players to turn up and start play at 19:00 or it's not worth bothering with at the club. So I'll list it like an RPG.

Old fashioned dungeon bashing done as a boardgame with big plastic figures. Good simple fun.

Title:Into the darkness
System:Descent
GM:Nick Reynolds
Min Players:2
1.Gareth Larter
2.Richard Evans
3.Matt Nixon
4.Efrem Kirk

Okay, colour me interested in this. I've seen and heard of it but I'd like to play it. I can get there for 7pm without too much hassle.

Usual caveats about best laid plans apply here ...

We might get away with a later start, but the usual hanging around until 20:00 we get will almost guarantee not finishing by chucking out time.

Well unless the GM wins quickly by killing lots of the players.

Well, I don't seem to be in anything so why not.

Perhaps we might see more more board games posted for sign-up in the futures . . .  Think

For those who dont know this game, me and Nick played it at Conception and its big fun.  The NPCs are played tactically by the Overlord (nick) and can be a short or long game depending on how bad one side or the other is.

Having done this at the club games day it's going to be very tight to squeeze this into an evening. Could people please make sure they are down nice and early as I'd really like to be playing by 19:30.

I'll be using a scenario slightly smaller than the ones used on Saturday as they were taking five hours to play.

The good thing off course so long as 2 of us are there on time. We can always start and the others can join in as they turn up.

Good idea ... I'll try to be there in time to kick off at 7.30pm, vagaries of work permitting. If I'm running late, I'll text Richard and join in when I arrive.

I might make half-eight if I'm lucky - start without me.
